Trump praised her in a post on Truth Social and said she would be “transitioning” to a role in the private sector.
Bondi's time leading the justice department was often overshadowed by its handling of the release of files relating to Jeffrey Epstein and its investigation into the convicted sex offender.
She is the second Trump administration official in recent weeks to be cut from her post, after Kristi Noem was ousted as homeland security chief in March. Bondi will be replaced by her former deputy, Todd Blanche.
Blanche denied US media reports that Bondi's handling of the Epstein f..

Trump implores Americans to boycott ‘dried up prune’ Bruce Springsteen: ‘His overpriced concerts suck!’

President Donald Trump implored MAGA loyalists to boycott Bruce Springsteen, branding the veteran musician “a dried up prune” whose tickets are too pricey.
On Thursday morning, Trump took to Truth Social to pen a 117-word diatribe against the New Jersey-born rocker — whom he has exchanged barbs with for years.
“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” the Republican president wrote.
“The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election,” he added. “MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”
The long-running feud between the president and “The Boss” dates back to at least 2016.

Cops arrest murder suspect who has been on the run for months after being mistakenly let out of a California jail

A Seattle homicide suspect who authorities say was mistakenly released from a California jail has been arrested after spending months on the run.
Isaiah Andrews, 20, is suspected of shooting and killing a man in the Northgate neighborhood on October 15, 2025, Seattle Police said. The victim, 20-year-old Theodore Wheeler IV, was found in the parking lot of a hotel just before 5 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police and firefighters attempted life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene. It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.
Andrews was arrested three days later, about 800 miles away in Antioch, California. His arrest came after a vehicle chase involving several police agencies, authorities said.
He spent just three days in jail before staff “mistakenly released” him on October 21.

Macron calls Trump’s remarks on his marriage ‘inelegant’

Macron calls Trump's remarks on his marriage 'inelegant'French President Emmanuel Macron has said that Donald Trump's comments about his marriage were “neither elegant nor up to standard”.
The US president was delivering a national address in Washington on the war in Iran, when he claimed that Brigitte Macron, Macron's wife, treated her husband “extremely badly”.
“He's still recovering from the right to the jaw,” Trump said, referring to a 2025 video which appeared to show the moment Macron was shoved in the face by his wife.
At the time, France's president said they were “just joking about as we do”.
During the address on Wednesday, Trump also recalled asking Macron for France's help in the Gulf – having previously accused France of failing to help in the war on Iran.
On strategic matters, the French President said that the Trump administration was constantly giving out contrary signals.
“There's too much talk” he said, “and it's..

Supreme Court live: Trump makes historic move to attend arguments on birthright citizenship case

'It's frankly ridiculous' Donald Trump says US is considering abolishing birthright citizenshipPresident Donald Trump is set to make an unprecedented visit to the Supreme Court today to hear oral arguments on his fight to end birthright citizenship.
No sitting president has attended Supreme Court arguments in the nation’s history.
Proceedings are set to begin at 10 a.m.
“I'm going,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office earlier this week. “I think so. I do believe. Because I've listened to this argument for so long.”
Trump had flirted with attending oral arguments in other cases, but opted against it. Now, his attendance has raised questions about the separation of powers with critics blasting the move.
When he returned to office, Trump signed an executive order to deny automatic citizenship to babies born in the U.S., unless they have at least one parent who is a citizen or permanent resident. That order was almost instantly challenged by groups, who arg..

Trump threatens to blast Iran ‘back to the Stone Ages’ ahead of primetime address on war tonight

President Donald Trump on Wednesday claimed that he’d rejected a request for a ceasefire from Iran’s president as he threatened to bomb the country “back to the Stone Ages” if Tehran does not allow ships to resume passing freely through the Strait of Hormuz.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump said “Iran’s New Regime President” — who he described as “much less Radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors” — had asked for a “ceasefire” from the U.S.
“We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages,” he added.
The U.S. president is due to deliver a primetime address on the war Wednesday evening. His latest remarks come as the U.S. has failed to rally a force capable of re-opening and guaranteeing safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a major waterway and energy traffic route off Iran’s coast that has become the focal point in the war Trump launched last month.

It comes as President Donald Trump says US military action in Iran could end in “two to three weeks”, but there is no clear sense yet of how that will happen or what comes after.
China joins Pakistan, which has emerged as an unlikely mediator in the US-Israel war against Iran. Officials in Beijing and Islamabad have presented a five-point plan with the aim of bringing about a ceasefire and re-opening the vital Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan, which has been a US ally in the past, seems to have won over Trump to mediate this conflict.
Beijing, however, is entering the fray as a rival to Washington, ahead of cruc..
