A police source said on Thursday that the force had earlier served a summons to prosecute a local female driver for careless driving, after she allegedly drove in the wrong direction of traffic on Jaffe Road on January 23.
It was understood that the driver was New People’s Party lawmaker Judy Chan Kapui, who represents the Hong Kong Island West geographical constituency.

Tehran is intensifying its attacks on Iranian Kurdish groups in Iraq amid speculation that US President Donald Trump wants them to join the fight against Iran, as US and Israeli strikes continue.
One person was killed and three injured in Iranian strikes on Tuesday and Wednesday on bases belonging to two separate Kurdish opposition groups, the BBC has confirmed.

President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a full U.S. trade embargo on Spain after the NATO ally refused to let the U.S. military use its bases for missions linked to strikes on Iran.
