The gaming retailer GameStop is famous for letting you trade in old video games for store credit. But what would happen if they let you trade in almost anything?
The answer, apparently, involves a gas mask, a stuffed bobcat, a 20mph speed limit sign, and an educational model of the blood vessels surrounding the human lung (written in Japanese, naturally).
Those were among the strange and dubious treasures handed in at GameStop branches on Saturday, the company's first ever 'Trade Anything Day'.
“For one day only, GameStop will be accepting more than the standard video game and tech-related product assortment we are known for and accepting almost anything in trade*!” said the company, whose share prices enjoyed a major boost last year due to CEO Ryan Cohen's vocal supporter of Donald Trump.

Students at a Florida college described their shock after a classmate was arrested for having 1,500 rounds of ammunition delivered to his dorm room – where authorities also found an AR-15 hidden underneath his bed, according to reports.
Rollins College senior Constantine Demetriades, 21, was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of possession of a firearm on school property.
According to an arrest affidavit, the school’s assistant campus safety director told police that Demetriades purchased ammunition online that was to be delivered to him at the school’s campus in Winter Park, a suburb of Orlando, ClickOrlando reported.
A search of Demetriades’ dorm revealed an unloaded AR-15 rifle underneath his bed inside an “unsecured black carrying case” with one loaded magazine and five empty magazines.
“I’m happy they’ve found it because I’ve seen him around campus, and if they didn’t do anything about it, I’d personally fear for my safety,” a student told ClickOrlando.

President Donald Trump joked that he shouldn’t be in office if he can’t outperform comedian Jimmy Kimmel when hosting the Kennedy Center Honors this weekend.
“I’ve watched some of the people that host; Jimmy Kimmel was horrible,” Trump said on Saturday during an Oval Office ceremony to present the 2025 Kennedy Center honorees with their medals.

President Donald Trump is starting to grow weary of the ongoing controversies plaguing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to a new report.
While the president has stood by Hegseth in public, he has shown less enthusiasm behind closed doors, The Atlantic reported Friday, citing several unnamed sources familiar with White House discussions.
